Her passion for functional medicine began with her own health journey.
Dr. Lyonie Charles, DNP, FNP-C, BC-FMP is a dual board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Functional Medicine Practitioner with over 22 years of healthcare experience and more than 15 years as a nurse practitioner. She is the founder of LoveLee 4Life and creator of the Vitality360™ Method.
For years, Dr. Charles struggled with eczema, inflammation, and recurring skin issues that affected her confidence and quality of life. Like many women searching for answers, she visited specialists, tried various treatments, and even pursued advanced dermatology training. Yet the symptoms continued to return.
Everything changed when she discovered that her skin concerns were connected to deeper imbalances involving gut health, inflammation, hormones, and metabolism. By addressing the root causes rather than simply managing symptoms, her health transformed, and so did her understanding of what true healing looks like.
That experience became the foundation of LoveLee 4Life.
Wellness from the inside out
Today, Dr. Charles combines functional medicine, dermatology, and aesthetics to help clients achieve wellness from the inside out. She holds a Post-Master’s Certificate in Dermatology, allowing her to bridge the gap between internal health and external beauty.
Her mission is simple: to help women uncover hidden healing opportunities, restore balance, build confidence, and create lasting vitality through a personalized, root-cause approach to health and wellness.
